Set to “Mercy” by Max Richter, Two explores the transcendent and bittersweet nature of relationships, where two people come fleetingly together as one – sharing moments in life, love, friendship or simply joy in their connection – before moving on with their own existence. The movements were inspired by the sudden and ephemeral moments of two birds crossing paths, ‘dancing’ in a display of almost harmonic beauty to the human eye, before soaring off on their own journeys.
